Canadian Experience Class

For skilled workers who have already contributed to the Canadian economy, the CEC offers a streamlined pathway to permanent residence—no ECA required, no proof of funds needed.

The Canadian Experience Class (CEC) is an immigration program for individuals who have gained skilled work experience in Canada. Unlike the Federal Skilled Worker Program, CEC does not require an Educational Credential Assessment (ECA) and has different eligibility criteria focused on Canadian work experience.

CEC is processed through the Express Entry system. Candidates create a profile and receive a CRS score. Those with competitive scores receive Invitations to Apply (ITAs) during regular draws.

Key Advantage: Work experience does not need to be continuous. You can combine multiple periods of full-time or equivalent part-time work, and experience in different TEER categories (all at level 0, A, or B) can be combined.

  • Language (TEER 0/1):CLB 7
