Federal Skilled Worker Program

The Federal Skilled Worker Program assesses candidates on six selection factors. Meeting the 67-point threshold is only the first step—your CRS score determines whether you actually receive an invitation.

The Federal Skilled Worker Program (FSWP) is designed for skilled workers with foreign work experience who want to immigrate to Canada permanently. Applicants are assessed on six selection factors and must score a minimum of 67 out of 100 points to qualify.

Unlike the Canadian Experience Class, FSWP does not require Canadian work experience. However, candidates must demonstrate they have the skills and experience to contribute to Canada's economy.

Minimum Requirements: At least one year of continuous full-time (or equivalent part-time) skilled work experience in a TEER 0, 1, or 2 occupation within the last 10 years.

  • Minimum Points:67/100
